This release is new and not new at the same time. Prior to now, this album had only been bundled with early vinyl copies of The Silent Surf from 2010. It's a short one but it's really chill.

I stumbled back across this double album recently and I'm glad I did. This is a whole lot of ambient drone. I'd venture to say it's an absolutely perfect example of the genre. Seriously.

Some nights, I put this on just before going to bed. The delicate, hypnotic drone is my ticket to dreamland.

This is solid downtempo work. Each track feeds the next with a dark, electronic crawl. It's the kind of thing you get lost in.

This album recently found me again. My girlfriend first introduced me to Ulrich Schnauss in 2008. His work is more beat-driven, yet it still retains a chill, ambient quality. It's good stuff.
